 A social and e-commerce platform designed to connect boutique owners with their clientele through an iOS and Android app, a web-based back office, and a public website.

Challenge

The luxury boutique industry faced a challenge in maintaining customer engagement and generating online sales. The clients needed a platform that allowed shops to connect with their customers, showcase new products, and facilitate conversations around purchases—all while maintaining a premium, Instagram-like experience.

Objectives

  • Create a mobile app that allows luxury boutiques to engage directly with their clientele through posts and messaging.

  • Enable customers to follow their favourite boutiques, browse new products, and communicate with shop owners.

  • Build a web-based back office for boutique owners to manage their profile, track customer interactions, and use marketing tools.

  • Integrate payment systems into the messaging feature to enable easy transactions within the app.

Solution

We developed a feature-rich platform for boutiques and shoppers alike. It included:

  • Instagram-like Feed: Shops created profiles, posted news, and shared images to engage users through visual content.

  • Direct Messaging: Users could message boutiques directly, inquire about items, and complete purchases using a payment integration within the chat system.

  • Back-office for Shop Owners: A web-based dashboard allowed boutiques to manage content, track interactions, and deploy marketing campaigns, including email open-rate tracking.

  • Scalable Infrastructure: Initially launched for a small number of boutiques, we designed the platform to scale, allowing for future growth and adoption by other shops.
