A web UI for managing hotel bookings, with an admin interface for hotel registration and embedding booking functionality on hotel websites. Acquired by another company after a successful run.

Challenge

The client had a robust backend system for hotel bookings but needed a user-friendly web interface that could rival the simplicity of Booking.com. They also wanted a solution for hotel owners to easily integrate booking capabilities into their websites.

Objectives

Develop a web UI that simplifies hotel bookings for users, similar to Booking.com.
Build an admin interface where hotel owners can register properties, manage bookings, and create embeddable booking functionality.
Ensure seamless integration with the client’s existing booking system.

Solution

We created a web-based booking platform with:

User-Friendly Booking UI: A smooth, intuitive interface allowing users to search, view availability, and book hotels easily.

Admin Panel for Hotel Owners: Hotel administrators could register properties, manage bookings, and generate custom URLs with iframe code for embedding the booking widget directly onto their own websites.

Seamless Integration: The system worked in sync with the client’s core backend, ensuring smooth booking processes and data flow.

Impact and Results

Improved Efficiency: Hotels could now integrate booking functionality directly into their websites, enhancing the customer booking experience.

Industry Recognition & Acquisition: After a successful few years, this travel client was acquired by another company who were a much larger player in the hotel booking industry.
